With static paper invoices, the totals printed aren’t always the final amounts due. With the new Kanopy Payment Portal, we’ve made sure that the total due you see is always the most up-to-date amount, factoring in deposits and other adjustments. Now, two documents are generated: a dynamic Invoice and a detailed Order Summary.
Invoices: With the Payment Portal, Invoices are digital and only show the total due. When Kanopy emails an invoice, we include a link to view the live invoice in the Portal as well as a generated PDF showing the amount. This digital invoice contains the total due. Now the invoice Kanopy emails always shows the most current information. In order to view the title breakdown and details, similar to our older static invoices, we’ve created the Order Summary.
